The best place to build a Tree House base is Redwood Forests which is directly southwest of Red Peak. Ark has many strange quirks of its terrain that with a little creativity and a lot of annoying snap points, can actually become signature features of your Arkitecture. I would suggest building in stone only or a rex might do some serious damage. Put the "important" stuff in the center of the base, away from those walls.
